1 - 9 ounce package of fresh 3 cheese tortellini
2 - 10 ounce cans condensed tomato soup, undiluted
2 cups chicken broth
1 cup 2% milk
2 cups half and half cream
1/2 cup chopped sun dried tomatoes in oil
1 teaspoon onion powder
1 tablespoon garlic
1 tablespoon basil
salt to taste
2/3 cup shredded parmesan cheese
additional shredded parmesan cheese for topping
Cook Cheese Tortellini according to the package.
Meanwhile, in the large soup pot, combine the soup, broth, milk, cream, sun dried tomatoes and seasonings. Heat through, stirring frequently.
Drain Cheese Tortellini, carefully add tortellini to the tomato soup. Stir in the parmesan cheese.
Sprinkle each serving with additional parmesan cheese.
