Jasmine Rice Recipe
Pan size:1 1/2 quart sauce pan with tight fitting lid
Temp: simmer
Cooking time: 20 minutes
Servings: 3 cups jasmine rice

Jasmine Rice Cooking Directions
1 cup White Jasmine rice
1 1/2 cups water or broth
1 tablespoon butter or olive oil
salt to taste
Rinse rice. Put all ingredients in a pan with a tight-fitting lid. Bring to a boil, stir once, reduce heat, cover and simmer 20 minutes. Do not remove lid. Remove from heat and allow to sit, covered, for 10 minutes. Fluff with a fork. A rice cooker may be used with the same water-to-rice ratio.
