Cat Chicken Treats Cooking Directions

1/2 cup whole wheat flour
1/2 cup nonfat dry powdered milk
1/8 cup catnip
1/2 can chicken, chopped into small pieces
1 tablespoon cod liver oil
1 egg, beaten
1/4 cup water

Preheat oven to 350°F. and grease cookie sheets with cooking spray.

In large bowl, cut the chicken into smaller pieces. Add flour and milk. Mix well.Add water and oil. Mix well again.

Beat egg in separate dish until egg gets a foamy texture. Add to mix. Mix well. The dough mix will be sticky.

Shape dough into small bite size balls, about the size of a marble. Place balls on greased cookie sheets. Flatten balls with a fork.

Bake for 10 minutes. Remove cat chicken treats from oven wait five minutes and turn cat chicken treats over so other side will cook. Bake 10 more minutes or until golden brown in color.

Place cat chicken treats on a cookie rack to cool. Cool for 15 minutes. You can sprinkle a small amount of catnip on top of cat chicken treats. Store in air tight container and store in fridge or freezer. Yields about 60 treats.
