Birdseed Apple Cake Recipe Directions

2 cups bread crumbs
3 whole apples with seeds, chopped
1 cup raisins
1/2 cup unsalted nuts
1/2 pound ground suet
1 cup sugar
1 small jar of peanut butter
1/2 cup flour
1/4 cup cornmeal
1 cup birdseed
large pinecones - optional

Mix all ingredients together to form a stiff mixture.

Press birdseed mixture into pinecones or form into balls.

Put balls into bird mesh bags. Hang birdseed pinecones and balls with a string outdoors.

Freeze leftover birdseed mixture.
