Birdseed Raisin Cake Recipe Directions
1 cup raisins
1 cup cornmeal
1/2 cup lard
1 cup skim milk
1 cup flour
1 cup rolled oats
1 cup wheat germ
Preheat oven to 350ºF. Mix all ingredients except raisins together to form a thick batter. Dredge raisins in flour and add them to the mixture.
Spray pan with cooking spray, sprinkle with flour. Bake the cake for an 1 hour. When done, let cool and break into large pieces. Place in bird mesh bags and hang outdoors.
