Blue Cheese Ball Directions

4 ounce crumbled blue cheese Place first 3 ingredients in a large bowl; beat with a mixer on medium speed for 2 minutes or until creamy. Add dates, green onions, lemon rind, salt and paprika; beat at medium speed until well blended, scraping sides of bowl as necessary. Spoon cream cheese mixture onto a large sheet of plastic wrap. Form into a blue cheese ball, using your hands. Chill blue cheese ball over night. Just before serving; combine parsley and walnuts in a shallow dish. Unwrap cheese ball; gently roll blue cheese ball in nut mixture, coating well. Place blue cheese ball on a serving plate. Serve with your favorite crackers, breads, or veggies. |
