1/4 cup ketchup
2 tablespoons orange juice
1 tablespoon vegetable oil
2 teaspoons prepared horseradish
1/8 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon cayenne pepper
Thaw shrimp, if frozen. Cook shrimp in boiling lightly salted water for 1 to 3 minutes or until shrimp turn pink, stirring occasionally. Rinse the cold running water; strain. Chill shrimp for 2 hours to overnight.
For the sauce, in a screw-top jar combine ketchup, juice, vegetable oil, horseradish, salt and cayenne pepper. Cover jar and shake well. Refrigerate until serving time.
Divide shrimp between dishes, pour 1 or 2 tablespoons of sauce over shrimp. Serve, set the remaining sauce on the table if anyone would like a little more sauce.
